Grobbulus Encounter, 2nd boss in Abomination Wing
Targets: Grobbulus, Fallout Slime
Fight Duration: 4-6 minutes.



GROBBULUS
Strategy: The tank slowly moves Grobbulus around the room while the raid stacks up at range. Melee dps does no damage to Grobbulus but must kill the Fallout Slimes when they spawn. 1 player receives the Mutating Injection debuff every 10 seconds and must run away from the raid towards the player with the assigned raid-symbol. Once dispelled, the debuff makes a poison cloud on the ground that graduately increases in size.

  • Special 1: Spawns underneath Grobbulus.
  • Special 2: Graduately increases in size.
  • Damage: About 1000 dmg/sec (poison).
• Slime Spray
• • Cooldown: 30 seconds
  • Type: Cone Spell (nature)
  • Damage: 3600 - 4800 (nature)
  • Special 1: Spawns 1 Fallout Slime for every player hit.
  • Note: The only player who should be hit is the maintank. So generally only 1 Fallout Slime will spawn at a time, unless someone is fucking up.
• Mutating Injection
• • Cooldown: About 10 seconds
  • Type: Debuff on random player (disease)
  • Duration: 10 seconds
  • Special 1: If dispelled, puts a Poison Cloud on the ground where the player is standing.
  • Special 2: If not dispelled before it runs out: Puts a Poison Cloud on the ground where the player is standing, and deals a high amount of physical damage to the player.
  • Notes: It is very important that the priests don't just press their Decursive whenever someone receives this debuff. That player -must- move away from the raid before the debuff is removed. We have a designated Priest assigned to removing this debuff so this problem is less likely to happen.
• Enrage
• • Trigger: After 12 minutes
  • This has never happend. The boss is dead long before this happens.
