Gluth

Special Notes:
- Zombies must never be allowed to reach the boss. If a zombie is attacking you, then run to the Zombie pits so the mages can get it off.
- All Damage dealers must hug the boss and take the fears everytime it happens. That will make tank-rotations more succesful.



Gluth Encounter, 3rd boss in Abomination Wing
Targets: GluthZombie Chow
Fight Duration: 4-5 minutes.



GLUTH
Strategy: See individual abilities.

  • Stats
    • Level: 63
    • Health: 1.500.000
    • Armor: 4691
    • Standard Attacks
  • Mortal Wounds
    • Cooldown: needs testing
    • Type: Debuff on Gluth's target (physical)
    • Duration:
    • Special 1: Reduces healing received by 10% per application.
    • Special 2: Stacks up to 10 times.
    • Note: Gluth is not tauntable.
    • Strategy: 2 Maintanks are required, so that they can lose this debuff. They can use the Fear to make the switch. The tank who wants to take over should use Berserker Rage to be immune to the upcoming fear. When the Maintank and everyone in melee range is feared, the new maintank will receive the aggro. Their aggro should be close to each other though, to garantee that the aggro is kept once the fear breaks.
  • Terrifying Roar
    • Cooldown: 20 seconds
    • Type: AoE Fear
    • Range: 20 yards
    • Duration: 5 seconds
  • Frenzy
    • Cooldown: 10 seconds
    • Hunters must rotate Tranquilizing Shot
    • Mages must keep Detect Magic up.
    • Note: Hunters must run back to their assigned pit -after- they have used their Tranq, to refresh the Frost Trap (aoe slow) there. This is a great help to the Kiters.
  • Decimate
    • Trigger: Every 105 seconds (1 min 45 seconds)
    • Special: All players and Zombie Chows in the room will drop to 5 % health. In addition, Zombie Chows will reset all threat and start running towards Gluth. Everytime a Zombie Chow reaches the boss, they will be decoured and restore 5 % of Gluth's health. If more than 2 zombies reaches the boss during the encounter, we won't be able to do the boss before he Enrages.
    • Notes: A Natures Swiftness rotation is needed for the Main tanks. The healers on the Zombie Pits should focus on the pit-warriors before healing anyone else, they will be the first to take damage from the Zombies after the Decimate.
  • Enrage
    • Trigger: Shortly after the 3rd Decimate (5 minutes 15 seconds)
    • Greatly increases Gluth's attack speed and Damage. Will result in a wipe.




ZOMBIE CHOW
Spawns at each of the 3 pits every 10 seconds.

  • Stats
    • Level: 60
    • Health: 100.000 -> reduced to 5.000 when the Decimate happens.
    • Armor: unknown
    • Standard Attacks
  • Infected Wound
    • Type: Debuff placed when they land a hit on a player.
    • Description: Increases physical damage taken by 100.
    • Duration: 1 minute
    • Stacking up to 100 times.
    • Note: Keep them slowed and move around in a circle to clump them up, that way you don't lose the control.
