Thaddius

Special Notes:
- Greater Nature Protection Potion.
- 5000 Health is advised.
- Adds in first phase have to die at the same time!
- Red left, Blue right.



Thaddius Encounter, 4th and final boss in Abomination Wing
Targets: 1st Phase: StalaggFeugen, 2nd Phase: Thaddius
Fight Duration: 9-10 minutes.



1st Phase

The Raid is split up into 2 groups, one with all ranged dps, and one with all melee dps. Healers should be split 66/33, with more healers on the left side.
Each group will move up onto a platform where the Stalagg and Feugen are positioned. If either of them leaves their platform, they will unleash a series of chain lightning strikes to the raid on the platform, resulting in a wipe. Furthermore, they need to Die within 5 seconds of each other or they will ressurect with full health.


Feugen and Stalaggs shared abilities

  • War Stomp
    • Cooldown: About 8 seconds
    • Type: AoE knockback (physical) 10 yards.
    • Range: 15 yards
    • Damage: 1500 damage.
    • Note: Does not stun, despite the name.
  • Throws Tanks
    • Cooldown: 20,5 seconds
    • Type: Special
    • Effect: Throws the current tank across the room, onto the other platform.
    • Note: A secondary tank must be ready on each platform to Taunt whenever this ability is used.


STALAGG (Left side)

  • Stats
    • Level: 62
    • Health: 500.000
    • Armor: 4691
    • Crushing Blow Attacks
  • Crushing Blows
    • Note: All attacks that are not missed/blocked/parried/dodged are Garanteed to be Crushing Blows (dealing x1.5 damage).
  • Power Surge
    • Type: Buff
    • Cooldown: broken, currently 11 seconds
    • Duration: 10 seconds
    • Effect: Increases attack speed by 200%
    • Notes: This ability, combined with his Crushing Blows, means that Stalagg hits like a truck. We will announce the next tank taking over after each throw, so that healers can put up a Power Word: Shield and some HoTs on the upcoming tank to make the tank transition easier for them (Stalagg can kill a tank in 2 seconds).


FEUGEN (Right side)

  • Stats
    • Level: 62
    • Health: 500.000
    • Armor: 4691
    • Standard Attacks
  • Mana Drain
    • Cooldown: unknown
    • Type: AoE
    • Range: 25 yards or so (keep max range to avoid)
    • Effect: Drains mana (not sure how much, but people tend to go oom pretty quick)



2nd Phase

Once Stalagg and Feugen have been defeated, the Raid has about 20 seconds to position themselves for Thaddius who will awake from his slumber.
Every 30 seconds, Thaddius will charge and re-arrange the Raid with Positive and Negative charges. The idea is that players must group up with others with the same Charge and gain a damage buff for every player with the same charge nearby. We have all players with Negative charges move to the left, while all the players with Positive charges move to the right. Often refered to as "Red Left" and "Blue Right".
Standing next to players of the other charge will deal damage to both you and them. Standing next to several people of the opposing charge (if you fail to move) will immediately kill you. You need to pay careful attention to your debuff - if it changes, you gotta stop your cast immediately and move to the other side. You have about 5 seconds to end up at the other side if your polarity changes. (note that it
may not change
so you cannot just move every 30 seconds - gotta watch the debuff!)



THADDIUS

  • Stats
    • Level: 63
    • Health: 6.662.000
    • Armor: 4691
    • Standard Attacks
  • Polarity Shift
    • Type: Places and changes the Charge-debuffs in the raid.
    • Cooldown: 30 seconds
    • Special: Every player of the same Polarity as you will grant you a 10% damage increase. With a full raid alive you will do about 3 times your normal damage. This is also needed to defeat the boss before the Enrage happens, as he has an extremely high amount of health.
  • Ball Lightning
    • Trigger: No player in melee range
    • Type: Single Target Spell (nature)
    • Damage: 8.000 damage.
    • Cooldown: 2 seconds
    • Note: We should always have a lot of off-tanks and then melee dps in range even if the tank dies, so this ability should never happen.
  • Chain Lightning
    • Cooldown: 2 seconds
    • Type: 3-target Spell (nature)
    • Damage: Deals 2.000 - 3.000 damage to 3 players.
  • Enrage
    • Trigger: 5 minutes after the 2nd phase begins.
    • Effect: Thaddius will start using a powerful Lightning AoE repeatedly, killing the entire raid in about 5 seconds.
